LTP Releases SNAPit, a Web-based Blackboard to IZIO Course Conversion Utility

Learning Technology Partners (LTP), a San Francisco based eLearning integration and outsourcing company, today announced the release of SNAPit, an easy-to-use web-based Blackboard to IZIO course conversion utility. Institutions using Blackboard will now be able to migrate their course content to the IZIO platform with very little effort.

According to industry research, many institutions that are looking for an alternative solution are reluctant to switch because of the time they have already put in to create courses as well as the associated costs. SNAPit was created in response to this need and ensures an easy and seamless transition.

SNAPit takes a Blackboard course archive, uploads it as a single file, expands it, analyzes the course materials, and imports it as a new IZIO course. With IZIO, instructors need little or no training in the use of the platform. The only speed bump in the transition was the conversion of content already created using Blackboard. With SNAPit we have eliminated this.
